Homework 

In kindergarten homework is optional.  Research shows that family time and play are crucial to child success. 

 

Here are some ways you can practice school skills at home:

 

Additional Practice Suggestions:

  • Read, read, READ! (Read to yourself, listen to someone read, or read to someone!)

  • Write a story, a song, a poem...anything you want!

  • Sing alphabet songs

  • Count as high as you can!

  • Practice reading and writing your sight words

  • Optional homework will be sent home nightly and on weekends. This is a learning tool to be used as a home link and resource.
